Our 2007 employee survey had the highest ever response rate (74 per cent) in its ten year history. The results of the survey were extremely positive, building on the excellent results from the year before. We performed above average in sixteen out of seventeen benchmarking categories, indicating a healthy culture and environment where people feel respected, engaged and able to speak openly.

Our survey showed that our staff thought that the best thing about working at Bristol-Myers Squibb was their team and our company culture. Additionally, job satisfaction and our products proved to be big drivers in keeping our people happy.

What our employees say
Highlights from this year’s results show that 96 per cent of people understand the overall purpose, aims and strategy of the business, 88 per cent of UK employees say they enjoy working for Bristol-Myers Squibb, 86 per cent of our people are proud to say the work for our company, and 84 per cent would recommend us as an employer to someone they know (see chart B).
